Phnom Penh

Here are a few pictures from our stay in Phnom Penh, namely Tuol Sleng and The Killing Fields, but also a couple from a quick visit we made to an orphanange in Phnom Penh.

Tuol Sleng

The Killing Fields

Our motorcycle taxi drivers knew the manager of an orphanage in Phnom Penh and asked us if we could donate a bag of rice. We ended up staying a while and seeing the orphanage, which houses about 100 children. They were being schooled and were learning not only Khmer and English, but traditional Khmer dance and instruments. Living conditions were deplorable, but it was pretty amazing to see what they could do with so little.

Hahahaha! I think that is the same motorcycle driver that I had when i was in Phomn Pehn!!! He took me to this crazy little bar with a few of my friends and taught us how to dance traditionally. It was a blast!
